How do you set the order?
Files stack up in the order you add them. Use the up and down buttons to move one, or remove the ones you do not need. The merged file follows the order you see.
Are bookmarks and form fields kept?
Page content and fonts carry over intact. Document-wide things — outline bookmarks, form fields, annotations — can be lost when merging. Your originals are untouched, so open the result and check before you rely on it.
What about password-protected PDFs?
A PDF that asks for a password to open cannot be processed. Save an unlocked copy first, then try again.
Where do the files go?
Nowhere. Your browser does the work, and this page never sends files to a server. Try it with your internet disconnected and see it still work.
